Eggs are a great source of protein which is required for the growth and repair of the cells, skin, hair, muscles and bones. It is also a rich source of vitamin B12 which is required for the synthesis of DNA. Egg also contains iron which helps to prevent anemia.

Organic eggs come from chickens that were given organic feed, free from pesticides or herbicides and chemicals. Also chickens should not be given any antibiotics or growth hormones. Thus, organic eggs are considered to be extremely healthy and free from chemicals. The risk of salmonella increases when chickens are raised in unhygienic conditions. Such unhygienic conditions are rare for organic farms, as they are clean, chemical free and they also have a direct access to the sunlight.

Chickens that have an access to the outdoor space produce eggs with good quality fat and high amount of omega-3 fatty acid. As these chickens roam they increase their body movement and get more exercise than chickens who are kept in restricted areas. Omega-3 fatty acid is a healthy fat that plays an important role in cognition, reduces inflammation and has a positive impact on the heart health.

Also organic eggs contain greater amount of vitamin A and vitamin E as compared to non-organic eggs. Vitamin A boosts the immune system and keeps the skin, vision and hair healthy. Whereas, vitamin E also is a potent antioxidant and plays an important role in maintaining the nerve function and cell membrane.
